I realised how much of an asshole I was for the past several weeks. It was a bit of a eureka moment tbh. Why does it make me happy? Well, now that I realise what I was doing I can try and prevent myself from doing that in the future. Plus there's gonna be some apologies I'll need to hand out.

Also unrelated happy, have a bunch of really cool pixelart gifs

I made an origami cat face and gave it eyes and whiskers. It is the most adorable thing ever besides an ACTUAL cat. I have no idea how I ended up with it[I was semi-randomly folding paper], but here it is. I am way too proud of this, partially because it proves an important symbolic point. Normally, when I fidget, I fidget destructively. I tear paper, unravel threads and unbend paperclips. Which made me semi-depressed when the person next to me in class is drawing beautiful art stuff on paper instead of ruining it. So its rather reassuring to know I am, in fact, capable of creating nice things.

Found out that my new dentists office does in fact use topical anesthetic before novacaine, which was flipping me out immeasurably.
The relief I feel right now is amazing.

Order pizza. The more pizzas you order, the happier you will be with your day. It is a true fact that this is a linear relationship, which can reasonably be expected to continue to infinity.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Had a long chat at the Friday family gathering about a bunch of topical issues, and it turns out that everyone in my family is okay with transsexuality (that is the noun form of the abstract, right? Please correct me if I'm wrong), and more-or-less share my view on homosexuality. Yay for my family being more progressive than I expected (although they're all reasonable people anyway, not sure why I was concerned).

Also I have a blue dressing gown that may or may not be check-patterned (it has a bunch of lines crossing at 90, but not solid blocks) that I think looks good and is super comfortable.

This sounds like an awesome idea. You should donate money so we can all enjoy a pizza.

I was tempted to kill someone only twice.

Oh c'mon, that's definitely a happy, I mean I've been sorely tempted to kill someone at least ten times today, nevermind the rest of the week.  Happy, My son is out of preschool, and the school district has okayed him attending normal classes next year in kindergarten.
