Now we just need to have an actual slave designation, complete with escape attempts, guards with whips, and sieges from the Mountainhomes over [ETHIC:SLAVERY:PUNISH_CAPITAL] and from the elves themselves.

That'd be neat.
We always need more ways to piss off the Mountainhome. I for one can't wait until an outpost liason winds up dying in a wild tavern brawl.

Technically, that's just prisoners.  Maybe dwarves find the idea of slavery abhorrent because, why have a non-dwarf do the work when you have a dwarf?  Trading is one thing, particularly since sometimes a site lacks raw materials or animals.  But slave labor is just an affront to their industrial, perfectionist spirit.

People 2 The Reckoning by Andrew Jackson Jihad is an awesome little piece of music.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'm fairly sure it's mostly because of the lyrics that I'm loving it so much. It's made my day tbh, well their other songs too, a nice musical discovery.
