top guy is my old adventurer, second person is my militia commander having gone super saiyan 2; the actual difference in their ki is 10054377 vs 2075551, but differences in ki cause a square difference in actual fighting ability and WAIT A MINUTE THAT'S ALREADY TAKEN CARE OF AHAHAHA

like I checked, the ratio between any two values is exactly equal to the square of the ratio of their ki, it's WONDERFUL

I usually don't have this much fun modding OR playing dwarf fortress, heh. I've turned DF into a frigging battle power-based idle game.

In response to your question, Rolan, the term I've heard is 'Rock Opera'.

Or, more rarely, suite.

A large number of progressive rock/metal songs are also this in a more condensed form - a full format rock opera is usually an entire album, a'la Quadrophenia or The Wall, both clocking at 81 minutes, whereas, for example, Rush's 2112 is a quarter of that and is just one song on an album.

Thanks yous!  I was thinking "rock opera" but didn't remember the term.  I know The Wall and it doesn't seem like much of a story, but maybe it's too art.  Will check out that Rush song though.

Finally played a fort all the way to the point of the strongest person there becoming the Super Saiyan God. Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan is underwhelming, so that mirrors reality. Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan 4 is slightly more impressive, but sorta superfluous and dumb, which further models reality.

EDIT: Oh my god the goblin city that I flew in and kicked the collective ass of as an adventurer is now the Saiyan capital. That's awesome.

I ran windows in DOSBox.

Apparently if you download the windows 3.1 and then mount that in DOSBox you can then run the exe for Sim Tower.

It took me a few tries to figure out that I had to mount the 'windows' in the windows folder to install the windows 3.1 then run the setup.  And I just tried to reinstall it as a way to pull up the gui in DOSBox.

I put the windows3 folder into my actual Cdrive
mounted the 'windows' folder in DOSBox
Ran the setup file
Put simtower into the 'Windows' folder
Ran that setup.
Answered the prompts.

It hurt my brain a little, but you guys have been fantastic for my computer literacy level.

Age of Ultron was fun. Winter Soldier set the bar pretty high, though, so if you asked me which was better, the answer would be easy.

But still! Super heroes doin super hero things! Explosions! Hulkbuster! Really cool robot hivemind dudes with an innate urge to put down humanity for its own good! It was awesome. Fast, though. You couldn't look away for a second. Also, some asshole three rows ahead of me thought they had the right to start having at a vapor cigarette about half an hour into the movie. It still smells and irritates, you piece of garbage.

We'll be having a cat again soon.

After not having one for half a year (and having at least one at any given time for many years before that), I'm really excited to finally have a pet like that again.
