I have a means of using Electric Sheep as an animating background, if anyone's interested. Works really well with the right Rainmeter setup as well. May be a bit of a busy setup, though; but I like it.

Basically, it's like the snazzy desktops you see in hacker movies and the like, but it actually works.

Playing Distant Worlds Universe and I'm using the stupidest 4X race in the history of 4X games, the Atuuks. One of their race vistory conditions is have the least research on the galaxy. And I also have a government with research penalties. And I'm at least 20% filling that condition so there's like 2-4 races more advance than me.

And this race of space faring primitive tribal monkeys can now build the Deathstar. I didn't restore one. I straight up have the last tech in the Super Laser tech line.

Let the galaxy tremble as my fuzzy spear wielding soldiers march to your homeworlds or face my fleet of world destroyers!

There's kestrels and peregrine falcons all over the place down here.

Peregrines are pretty great, and it's nice to see how well they've adapted to cities; just the other day I was out walking with my grandmother and spotted six overhead at the same time, all riding thermals from the blacktop and presumably looking for delicious critters.
