Fuck it, let's pool our resources and open a VR cinema. VR and nothing but VR. Giant rotating spheres EVERYWHERE

I have 238 roubles right here! Will that be enough?
Alternatively, you can always get Garry's Mod, Cinema Mod for it, and hook up your VR system to the game, and enjoy the experience that way. Of course, some creative mapping will be required for more exotic theaters.

EDIT:
Doing that in the VR cinema can get rather meta.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I am on borrowed net and silly enough to post this. :v

Wheeeee Typhoon area~

I am totally giving my general residence by the map. <_<
But yeah ._. Yay-not-that-strong-storm-hit!

By which I'm still not feeling good at the first areas of impact, but gladdened by the...lessened impact.
>_>

E: Clarification: Happy = What was initially thought as a very devastating hit = a lessened hit to other places. Happy was not based on the fact that there is an impact or its relation to the areas being hit (given that I'm in a precarious area anyway :v T'would be silly to infer that.)

I'm going to do the smart thing here and disengage. This isn't a hill I paticularly care to die on.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

I just watched Birdman. I had no idea what to expect.
In fact, I'm still not really sure quite what... just... how it made me feel, really. But it was really, really good.
Wow.

e: YES! FUCKING FINALLY! Last problem with my degree audit was resolved by the terrifyingly slow paperwork process. Actually going to graduate on time now, stress levels at minimum, all I've got left is maybe a few thousand pages of reading and a hundred or so pages of writing and I am DONE and moving on to grad school.  :D

Bean soup for breakfast! Leftover from last night. There really is such a thing as tasty cheap college-student food, folks. I haven't microwaved a thing since I got my own apartment.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

I don't know about anyone else, but I actually enjoy tropical storms/hurricanes. They're pretty fun, and also double as an excuse to party. Plus, watching the waves crash over the beach wall is pretty neat, and fun to dodge when on the beach (climbing rocks with those waves crashing is also pretty fun and a good challenge). After getting hit by said wave, you can just ride it into the ocean like a penguin, and then catch a wave back onto shore. If you have a skateboard, grab a bedsheet and go sailing across the empty streets.

Of course, I do acknowledge that it does suck damage-wise afterwards, especially for the less fortunate/unprepared.
