There's a grocery store manager position (the whole store) open and I absolutely wanna work there. Not sure how to make myself fit into that position. Want to.

You probably want an engineering materials handbook for those, I think.

Sadly while this would work great for most of the metals, it's going to be a lot tougher to track down the values for most of the various miscellaneous minerals. You might be able to track down some of the more common ones in civil engineer soil sample type stuff, but beyond that it's a fairly big crapshoot AFAIK. Knowing the exact sheer yield strengths of various minerals is not exactly a common fact that is needed in most fields.

That's basically how I got the job I have now. I was a seasonal employee at Best Buy, and the store manager for my current job was shopping for something, saw me calling the shots like I was the boss and training people, and made me his right hand man.

You may want to ask directly to people who may know where to look for. Maybe in universities and places like that ?
