Oh, that reminds me. Fuzzbutt invited me to his and his brothers DnD group, so that'll be fun.

Playing a power-hungry, self-serving, traditionalist, racist (of dwarf supremacy styling) exiled Dwarf paladin, who's (so far) only redeeming qualities are his honesty and his devotion to his word. If he says he'll help you, he will. If he swears a life-debt, he will. But he's racist to the point where the only thing I can think of that'd actually get him to join the adventuring party is if they rescue him from certain death and he swears a life-debt in recompense.

None of the other players are, to my knowledge, dwarves. Boyfriend is playing an elf ranger. So that'll be fun.

It's snowing!
After a month and a half of early-autumn temperatures, finally it decides to snow here in Colorado!
The last and only time it snowed all winter was on Christmas day.

Very happy because it's been so unbearably hot and I refuse to dress in fewer than 3 layers (t-shirt, flannel, jacket).
This winter has overall sucked.

That is the one thing I had missed about Colorado so much. It's the "it might snow but most likely not. If it does, it's usually in the morning and in the afternoon it is all melted away.".

Also, I loved going out in shorts for most of the winter there. One year, I wore shorts all year around. It was fun.

He's a Paladin. It's very, very easy to make paladins racist, even when they're nice. ("Oh hi, villagers, I would love to help you MURDER ALL THESE GOBLIN SCUMS.")

EDIT: Also my body is now very sore after the great fun from yesterday.

Have your character condescend to non-dwarves, choose to help people because "obviously they're incapable of solving their own problems, the poor smooth-faces," &c. 100% hatred assurance or your money back.
