My student loan application was successful. Now I don't need to worry about finances for a few years.

This may be better put in the actual DF boards, but its more the fact that it made me happy than anything else is why it's here. I was going around with my old badass adventurer and noticed a megabeast lair by the side of a mountain. Being bored with all the wolf fights I was getting recently, though they did wonders for leveling my biting skill, I quickly went over to it and prepared for battle. However, there wasn't anything attacking me. After some exploring, I found why: a sharp nail, some rock fat, and a stone carving knife.
Apparently I'd been this way before.
Halfway across the world from where I was last.
I went to a nearby village I'd noticed and started asking if there were any quests needed doing. Nope. So I asked about the surroundings and got a tidal wave of 'in the year x, Onol Nekolurdim Uzolken Idok rekt the megabeat Potato' and such. I just like the idea that I've been cruising around with him for long enough that I've killed a significant portion of any megabeasts I'm likely to find.

Thing is, my mapping out of the world disappeared when I retired for a bit so I could found a fortress near his location, mine down into HFS, and then abandon it so I could go fight demons.
Those turned out to be moderately fun to fight, though still all too killable. I have an earring made out of demon ivory among the pages and pages of other bone bling I have.

Don't understand Just Cause though. I played the first game for an hour before returning it.
