So, today I went and asked my girlfriend's mom for permission to take her daughter on a date for Valentine's day, and she asked me who else was going to be there (because no way was I going to go out with her alone!) and what time I would be back, and then she actually agreed to let me take her out! That's a first, normally my girlfriend asks and is refused, and then begs her for a few days and cries before she agrees...
And then she started talking about how she would have me over for dinner, but she wasn't ready and I should come back when she was ready... That was a little weird. But still, I guess that's good?
