I started watching Fist of the North Star. I'm just glad that it exists. I didn't know anything about it at all before I started watching, so I really wasn't prepared for a premise like "Kung Fu Jesus punches and head-bursts his way through the apocalypse".

I started watching Fist of the North Star. I'm just glad that it exists. I didn't know anything about it at all before I started watching, so I really wasn't prepared for a premise like "Kung Fu Jesus punches and head-bursts his way through the apocalypse".

Holy shit, I actually passed my biggest, baddest exams this semester!

There's just one last stupid exam I have yet to get results to, but otherwise, I passed ALL THE THINGS on the first try and with the GPA above 4.0, somehow!

As far as I'm aware. This GPA nonsense doesn't make sense to me.

GPA is more than a measure of 'intellect'.

  Its a measure of consistent performance.  It typically can indicate attendance and 'devotion' to study.
a 2.0 is barely passing (I think), and a 3.0 isn't too hard to grab under most conditions.  4.0 is theoretically perfect, but things like 'harder (advanced placement or w.e)  classes' are weighted as worth more than others, and can push you above 4.0.

Meh, I have a policy against homework, including most studying, so my GPA suffers, personally.

Eh, it's bullshit for a simple reason - the exams are not standardized in any way.

My Microbiology professor all but said he'd let everyone pass, for example, and the guys who supervised my practical Molecular Modelling classes told us outright - correctly as it turned out - that you could start studying two days before the exam and get an A. But on the other hand, Biochemistry - all three exams so far - were pure, utter, grimdark brutality.
