I'm helping a friend get his "game review" site up and going. Which I'm happy to help with.

He says he will do more with it later, like writing about "entertainment hardware", but he is just starting out.

Girl-I-like accepted my facebook friend request. I find this weird, either she recognizes me from middle school and high school and has no problem with my total lack of communication with her until the sudden random friend request, or she has no problem with accepting random strangers' friend requests. Don't know which is weirding me out more. Social media is weird.

Do it! There's no time like the present, Valentine's Day is a good time, and you are highly unlikely to regret it. Steel yourself, write something up ("Hey, I actually like you a lot. Would you like to go [date activity] on Valentine's?" or somesuch) and send it off. You'll probably feel good for asking, even if she says no (which is far, far from a guarantee).
