I spent pretty much the whole day today with my nieces. I learned taking care of young children isn't so bad as long as you don't get hung up on things you wanted to get done or watch or read, and just go with the flow and do the sort of things they want to do. And so some of my time today was spent watching the old Pokemon anime. It's probably not quite worth watching on my own just for the nostalgia, but if it also entertains my nieces, I feel it's time well spent.

So, anyway, I'm just now catching up to this thread. So first of all, I'll say happy belated birthday to Yoink and Itnetlolor.

Then,

I feel like the cord always going under your wrist would get really annoying. But... The only other alternative for a wire would be coming right out of it's gaping dead mouth. And that's horrifying to some people.

Or, you could turn the mouse around and click on its butt.

Taking a short stroll through the internet before sleep, reminding myself that Niel Cicierega is a human being that exists:

Mouth Silence is a wonderful experience if you like experimental music, snarky satire, and have either experienced any part of the 90's yourself, or regard 90's Kids with judgemental disinterest. Best enjoyed when you're able to give the lyrics and the choice of source material some attention, and maybe dig for meaning a bit, but it's very cleverly done. Mouth Sounds, the sister album which (according to the album's official lore) is from the parallel universe in which Hey Now transcended reality and became all songs, is also pretty weird/funny, though not so much my speed.

Personal favorites were absurdly sensationalist Pokemon-related News Stories put to music, Crocodile Chop, and Love Shack meets the soundtrack to Psycho.

P.S. This one isn't from the album, but I didn't even notice what Neil did to this at first, and I appreciated it once I did.
