I now am the Cinema Mentor of my dorm! I'll have to organize a beamer somewhere, and then I'll have to present nine films to an audience of at least two people. And I can sell beer on the side, with the profits going into my pocket!
Any suggestions for the lineup?

We had a Recommend a movie thread somewhere in General discussion board.

I would suggest films of Chaplin. Those never disappoint.

I'm pretty free in what I can show, Cryx - there's a sufficient amount of students here that almost anything will go through.
I was thinking classics, actually - Blues Brothers, The Big Lebowski, Dr. Strangelove, 12 Angry Men... Chaplin would fit, yeah. Maybe I'll do a Marx Brothers evening :P

Throw Grand Budapest Hotel in. That's one good movie.

I saw Lawrence of Arabia the other day. It's long, but it was really good. As was American History X, but that may be lost on a not-American audience. It also has swastikas in it.
