That'll probably come soon enough. According to the news, the ones I listed are the immediate benefits.

The demonsteele mod for Doom is amazing. May or may not be better than Brutal Doom. May or may not have unsheathed the katana in my pants.

While eminently more useful in this form for other applications, unboiling eggs has been something I've heard of, with sources going back to at least '07, with this guy: http://www.sfweekly.com/foodie/2008/02/15/how-to-unboil-an-egg-seriously
Quote
He explains that when an egg is cooked, the protein molecules unroll themselves, link up and enclose the water molecules. In order to 'uncook' the egg, you need to detach the protein molecules from each other. By adding a product like sodium borohydride, the egg becomes liquid within three hours. For those who want to try it at home, vitamin C also does the trick.

That sounds like it involves a chemical change in the egg protein - sodium borohydride is a strong reducing agent.

Unboiling things sound like the sort of stuff a bored wizard would do.

What practical use does I boiling an egg have?

It has literally just been said what effects unboiling an egg might have. It's not the egg part that matters, but the effects on the protein.

The most imminent implications are apparently saving time/money in all manner of research, and cancer treatment.

Sorry
I didn't bother to look at the previous page, all I saw was I boiling an egg and couldn't possible think of it being useful
I have been corrected

Woah. Now we just have to wait for the practical applications to be developed.

Took a two hour nap, mostly because I could barely operate. Suprisingly enough it really helped, plus the dream towards the end was damn cool. Also drinking some freshly squeezed orange/lemon juice, it's like a life filled kick in the ass for a still sleeping head.

Back home, in my soft cuddly bed of love.

Went to EB (lub u max), bought SR2 for the 360. Also, got a PSN card and spent $15 on Noby Noby Boy, Sleeping Dogs, and Mini Ninjas.
