Theme Hospital always made me really scared. Something about people running hospitals and not knowing what they're doing.

You're forgetting the frequent earthquakes, rampant pandemics, emergency helicopters bringing in a dozen people on the brink of death at a time, and hallways that start out clean but quickly become long slip-n-slides of vomit that simply can't be cleaned up fast enough.

The later levels of Theme Hospital were so craycray.

In retrospect, that's probably because of all the nonsense about AVIAN INFLUENZA and how getting AVIAN INFLUENZA was a death sentence and people started stockpiling food/petrol/et ceteras because AVIAN INFLUENZA was the apocalypse.
Naturally, me being me, I was much less afraid of slack tongue than I was of AVIAN INFLUENZA.
