I don't see why it wouldn't work. The line between Bechamel sauce and gravy is a hazy one; I'd venture to call it a gravy because of the consistency and flavor of the end result and the inclusion of (admittedly reconstituted) stock, but you might find that to be improper due to the fat's being pretty much all dairy. And, of course, the use of corn masa instead of flour is probably heresy regardless, but it's damn good heresy made all the better by necessity.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I made my first omelette :D

hah, high five man!

omlettu are fucking ridiculous, especially on your first try. How was it?
It was delicious, but I've had help from my dad :3

S... wha? Nah, simple omelette is easier than eggs over easy... fancier ones are more of a thing, as is making them look particularly impressive, but they're darn simple as egg dishes go. Ain't nothin' to stirrin' up some eggs and then shaping them a bit. Omelette's not much more than really finely scrambled scrambled eggs.

First cookin's always fair celebration though, especially if nothing caught on fire.

... the house is still there, right obj?

Yup. Can't say the same for the rest of the neighbourhood though. :P

I had a classic Canadian Standoff today. I enjoy that that's a stereotype of our country.

...Is a Canadian Standoff basically a staring contest with a moose?

Also, I had a pretty nice day today catching up with my Mum. Even if she was dressed somewhat bizarrely and mildly annoying at times, and even if my ipod ran out of juice early on. :P

Person 1: After you good sir!
Person 2: Nono, I insist, after you!
Person 1: Oh no I could not, surely you must go first
etc.
Basically goes on until both people decide to go at the same time and nearly run in to each other.

Found this thing for free online somewhere. I remember trying to play this game back when I was a kid, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and high end PC's measured disk space in MB, and just getting frustrated. Playing it now on DOSbox, I find it's actually enjoyable. It's frikkin' hard too which is nice, and I've never played an RPG where I had to limit my framerate. My only gripe so far is that there's not a whole lot of explanation of how things work, and most of the information on the internet is either long since removed or stored on atrociously designed websites in long walls of plain, largely unformatted text.

There's a lot of really great RPG games from the DOS era. Darklands, Dark Sun: Shattered Lands and Wake of the Ravager, Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession and Stone Prophet, the Wizardry, Might and Magic, and Ultima series...egads, I'm an old nerd, aren't I?

Oh, by the way, archive.org has zillions of DOS games in the database you can play for free and legally, and they use some sorta nifty version of DOSBox that can be ran in the browser.

Don't forget about all the abandonware sites, too. Abandonia and Home of the Underdogs are pretty great.

Yeah, but those are a bit legally iffy quite often, if you mind that kind of thing.
