Aw dang, I missed the discussion on weird names. :(

I might console myself with noodles. Or ramen, if you prefer.

Ramen makes me feel better about myself. The name, that is. The food is pretty good though. Spicy ramen is the light of my life. And I need to ask my brother or almost-stepmother about spices, see if there's any good ones to use in ramen...

Hmmmm... Thanks, Yoink! :D

Uh. You're welcome?
I stick to the lazy store-bought stuff, myself. I'm glad I have the 'Singaporean' flavour rather than the extra spicy one, not sure if my gut could handle that right now. :P

The goon's SS13 remake is about to be opensourced in less than a week!
I'm really goddamn excited. Especially since the code is in C#, which is basically the best language ever.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

* Arx flops.

Sister wedded to person. They have left. Church all cleaned up. Wedding was good. Teaching an eight year old and a ten year old to play Small World is far more tiring than it sounds.

I have time to myself now though. I can attempt to make my English teacher feel pain at second hand (hey, it's in the prompt).

Speaking of maps, I've more or less finished the one I did for my buddy's D&D setting. There may be some touch-ups done later down the line, but with the semester starting it's likely I won't have time.

Finally done with this for a while.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Just finished an archery tournament that decides who makes the team this year.
Scored 266/300
Placed 4th on males, compared to females I would have been 5th. All around probably 6th-7th.
