How would you even weaponise ionised radiation? I can't imagine a bunch of SAS guys running around going all "Eat alpha particles, bitch!".
Also of note is that "eat alpha particles" doesn't really have the same ring to it as "eat lead".
I imagine he intended to say ionising, as opposed to ionised. So a gamma ray gun could work.
Or the guns themself are ionized.

That is very good news indeed.

Just attended a two-hour talk on evolution. It was fantastic, and I think a lot of people hold better viewpoints now than they did before.

Side note: it's flippin' weird to be one of two people that claim to a good understanding of the Bible, and be one of the only people in the room in favour of evolution.

B12 occasionally makes me forget how liberal I actually am by many standards, since I'm  fairly conservative by these standards.

Yeah, but as far as I know, Filipinos are predominantly Catholic, at least as far as Christianity goes, and RCC is pretty compatibilistic on the subject - officially even. It's just some specific brands of Protestantism (and maybe Orthodoxy, my knowledge on the Orthodox church is very limited) that are rabidly anti-evolution.

EDIT: To the above I might also add that denial of evoluton is seen as pure idiocy in Russia, and is pretty much the main driving force behind the stereotype that Americans are dumb.

Noticed a loose screw in the bottom of my laptop, and was able to use my awesome pen-sized portable screwdriver with swappable heads thing I got for Christmas to fix it before it got worse.
