While remarking on the sad loss of the last of my supply of homemade banana bread, an idea occurred to me. Every year around the holidays, my family bakes tons and tons of cookies, then arranges them into nice little plates, wraps them up, and sends them to friends, family, and neighbors. When the holidays roll around again, I intend to save up some money so I can send some cookie plates to you folks on the forum.

Yeah. We mail plates every year. The worst these cookies can do is go stale, when the plate is unwrapped, and even then they don't tend to do that until January, in the unlikely event they aren't eaten by then.

That would be a terrible were-beast.  I'd hate to be the poor guy who accidently flattens his city/village every full moon.

Think of the warfare applications, though...

It would be like a nuke without the radiation problem.

Folk in outlying farms would look out their window in the night, and their city would be gone, replaced by a random mountain, and weep for truly the might of the gods was against them.

So the second day of the first day of classes is almost over for me (and with regards to academic classes, it is over). Some pretty good classes this semester. Number theory (only seven of us!) and Cryptography, in addition to the less-exciting Complex Variables, Statistics, and Composition.

Also, I managed to get one of my PE requirements as skiing. Which is also happy, because it gives me a reason to get out of my room and go skiing once a week.

My computer case is finished being art'd! Only took a month. Now I can finally build my new PC. Pics to follow, at some point.
