I'm still happy about no classes on Friday for the next 10 weeks?

I was personally under the impression that this was a thread for anything that made you happy...

Yeah but when it's a thing that makes a dozen people happy for 3 pages it's probably cool if it gets its own thread, y'know? At that point it no longer is so minor that it needs shuffling off into a containment thread.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

why must you ask me these questions this late at night?

I'm too anxious to play. If you want to play tomorrow though I would love to. It's a super fun game, though if you are pretty serious about your FPS games, the problems with it might bug you. I was playing with a friend and she had to stop playing it was driving her crazy. But she plays competitively.

There is now a pie kiosk in Sosnovo that is run by actual Uzbeks with an actual tandoor who make actual samosa with actual kurdyuk fat! I haven't been this happy about street food since that hot-dog stand fire.

Heheheheh, Veganism..... it's like Vegetarianism, but even harder a lifestyle to maintain. I've never quite understood why one would willingly live without animal derived products/foods.

because... I want to minimize my torture and murder quotient when it comes to animals. Or health, really. It's not like it's a difficult concept to grasp. Whether or not you agree with it. It doesn't take a philosophy degree to get the gist.

Honestly, vegan is easy, leaps and bounds easier than when I started over a decade ago. I went vegetarian for a year to learn to cook, and then went vegan. I have never taken multivitamins or been malnourished, I have way more variety in my diet and have experienced all kinds of new foods.

Vegetarians are all hypocrites or are just not doing their research anyway, the dairy and egg industry is just as bad as the meat industry, and the two are intrinsically interlinked. It's really just arbitrarily deciding what cruelty you don't want to participate in.

If I ever went vegitarien I would take the diet where fish is an ok meat for consumption just to make sure I'm not missing any important nutrients, that and fish is extremely healthy

Uzbek samosas are never vegan!

As a funny aside, Orthodoxal Christianity demands that those faithful spend approximately half a year fasting without consuming animal products, i.e. vegan.

Also, I am a very cruel and heartless individual, apparently, since I've killed and butchered my own meat more than once.
