The healthcare here is fine, actually. Free, aswell!

Happy: Found out DCUO is still on PS3. Installing now. Loved it on PC, felt good with a gamepad, but it took up loads of data/RAM. Now I can just shove it on my PS3 :D

Oh my god. This AGDQ. TASbot just broke Pokemon Red so thoroughly as to get it to start displaying the twitch.tv chat.

No clue. Scamps hasn't been active since '11, though, and their profile lacks a birthday, unfortunately.

The twitter account seems to suggest it, though. Happy spawning day, amphibian-owned fuzzy sadist.

@Urist

Loving the AGDQ stream's 'Hey, you guys should listen to this awesome song' and the game's audio isn't being broadcast. XD

Man, that cloak looks fucking ridiculous. XD

Also, obligatory NEEDS MOAR PAULDRONS.

How expensive is it to make a passable army? I've always been interested in playing W40K but I've never had the time or money to do so...

Cheaper then making an actual army, marginally. Miniatures don't need to eat.

Do you have to do that? I live in 1 of those greeny-brown areas & it's already cracked over 40oC once this week. Any Canadians want to swap for a couple of months? I'd quite like a couple of months of snow & skiing, I'll come home when the weather gets more reasonable.

Running Pokemon Red through a Super Gameboy with TASbot to control the game to control the Super Gameboy to control the SNES to stream twitch chat through the controller cables. And display it onscreen.

That was pretty awesome :D

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Spoiler: Sorry, lemme fix that (click to show/hide)

A 'Battle Box' would be about $350 AUD- which is a bundle of units enough to make a small army.
Transfer that into real people dollars and that's how expensive.

The cost is also dependent on how much the people you play with care about using the "right" miniature & if you stick to the same edition of rules. I'm pretty sure games workshop puts out new editions of the rules just so collectors need to constantly buy new miniatures to match the changes.

When I used to play (fantasy rather then 40K) we'd constantly just use what ever miniatures we had for whatever armies we played. So if I played the goblin armies they'd still be skaven miniatures. Also makes it cheaper in the sense that they never sell anything but the basic units in plastic. It gets expensive quick if your using an all metal army.
