Altho my professor and I were close enough where he made it clear he wasnt willing to give up his 6 figure to achieve it.  We had fun, even if he does preach about a return to fuedalism with a twist :P

Yeah, there's a few mirrors floating around now, because the original website stored their stuff on github and made it public after the takedown.

Much as I love D&D, you might want to scrub the link. The Toad's not cool with piracy being facilitated through the boards, by my understanding, however impossible the source material is to obtain legitimately or unlikely the wrath of the law is to come down on anybody around here.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Besides, it's easy enough to pirate things on the internet anyway. That just makes things too easy, and then the terrorists win.

Makes me wonder if I can find out how to read pdfs on my vita. Might be helpful if I get a case of insomnia at 5 in the morning or so

Looks like the current best method is to convert the .pdf into something readable by Vita's comic book viewer app, at least without getting into fancier mucking about.

There might just be browsers for the vita, too? If so, conversion into .html and uploading somewhere or somethin' would probably work, too... 'course, if you've got a browser on the thing there's always online junk.

Well yeah there's a pretty nice browser. No idea where, what or how useful the comic book app is either. Or how I'd go about html converting a TRPG pdf

Eh, you'd turn it into pics and then into an .html/.cbr (depending on how you go about it) file, apparently. It'd take a lil' bit of effort if there isn't some program out there that automates the process, but meh.

So, despite constantly being distracted, I finally finished my 1500 essay coursework under the title "Aristotle defined a tragic hero as a man whose misfortune is not brought about by vice or depravity but by some error or frailty. Do you agree that Antony is a hero in this context?"

A mixed happy, because it's half five in the morning, and I wanted it done today for the sole purpose of having time to do essays tomorrow. *Sigh*

Why did I have to pick four essay subjects for A level, eh? :/

Choose Your Own Adventure games are fun. I just finished one where my character basically became the father of all robots, creating a somewhat-utopian future where humans and synthetics peacefully co-exist. That'd be pretty cool if it actually happened.

So I gave Diablo 3 another shot today. Blizzard seems to have improved the system greatly, especially drop rates and skill balance. It was fun. Pretty sure it was daytime when I started though, now it's night. Midnight. Should probably go sleep.

Was fun though. Probably won't develop an addiction. Hopefully.

Game addiction sucks big time

I'm am a long time sufferer of it and it can drain your life

Though it's pretty entertaining and most of my friends are gamers so it makes for good conversation
