I got a bass guitar for Christmas. I like it. It plays completely differently from my guitars, sounds deep and bassy, and I can get all sorts of sounds out of it. Maybe I'll try recording some experimental stuff with guitar tracks and basslines now.

Less happy happy from today: GMd one of my funniest games today with two friends, they were in a hospital, one was Redson Grundy (guy from comic book series) and the other was himself. They were being hunted by creepy Morgan Freeman's armed with rusty shives and dressed in business suits. They creeped around the hospital air vents only to speak when they sensed the players near.
The only said a few things such as
"I can smell you"
"I've been creepin' around right now but you just can't see mea"
Or when in a pack they spoke in unison
"We can smell you"
"We've been creepin' round right now but you just can't see us"


This game was also good practice for my Morgan freeman impression

Boy oh BOY am I hyped for the next DF release.

I haven't even been playing the newest DF version. I haven't played DF for over a year now, probably.

Not that I think the new version is not worth playing, far from it. But personally I was just waiting for this small, final kick to make go dive into DF again. And this job priorities rewrite is exactly what I needed.
