Holy crap, Obama's going out with a bang.

About time somebody did that. Ah ha ha, they're going to have to print new editions of the international law textbooks just for this, although admittedly just to change verbs to the past tense. Taulbee'll make a killing I guess, on account of Von Glahn presumably being long-dead.

Also, Wakfu is finished. Quite a good show. That does it for light-hearted entertainment for me for a while, probably - back to the land of Psycho-Pass and suchlike.

On an unrelated note, the cashier stopped me as I was buying whiskey and alerted that they had a deal for the same price but with 4 sample packs of the other flavors, so I got that instead.

Flavored whiskey (Bird Dog is the brand), I decided to try it.  Blackberry is the flavor I went with, plus some samples of cinnamon, regular bourbon, peach, and maple.  Should be interesting.

I actually think (mostly) nothing but okay things will come from this.  If we can wedge ourselves into a working relationship with Cuba we can start helping them, and they us.  No reason not to try to.

I have to kind of wonder at persons who would spite the people for their government.  The people, even if 'misguided' are still not completely at fault . . .

IIRC, most pro-Dem Cubans are American by birth anyways and are more politically in common with other Hispanic migrants than their parents who emigrated from Cuba.

Funny day, me and other teen peoples had a little party of christmasness, we brought gifts and one person grabs one or they can steal from another gift can only be stolen up to 3 times yada yada yada.

But thing is, one gift that a girl brought was a giant Hershey kiss and a picture of herself holding said kiss, I was the last one to go for the gift thing, so I decided to walk around looking through the gifts so I could take one from someone with the power of steal, I pretended to ignore that one gift I mentioned, then went back and grabbed and took it with me. xD so much laughter. Sadly she wouldn't sign it. D: She said she didn't want to increase its value.

I laughed so much that I coughed and wheezed. it was amazing.

I got a bass guitar for Christmas. I like it. It plays completely differently from my guitars, sounds deep and bassy, and I can get all sorts of sounds out of it. Maybe I'll try recording some experimental stuff with guitar tracks and basslines now.
