Yet another "First" of adult life for me: first time I've had Iehovah's Witnesses knocking at my door. All I could think of was the various reactions everyone I know would have in this situation. In previous years, I'd end my involvement by saying "I'll go get my parents," though it was always Mormons at the door. Still, relatively painless. How likely is it that they'll come back "to answer any questions" after they said they would, though?

To solve the problem, tell them you are excommunicated.

I heard that works. Didn't test it myself tho.

For me, the weird thing is that if you tell them you are a Christian, and are able to meaningfully explain that you don't need to convert because you are already a Christian you mean your word look at you quoting the Bible, they still don't go away.
