Also STEAM IS GETTING LIVESTREAMING SOON HOLY SHITBALLS
Well, that is good news!
Is it?
Well, that's gonna make things interesting. If anyone would be interested, I can always broadcast some of the stuff that happens when playing against my brothers every other Wednesday. It gets pretty funny. Especially with Speedrunners, Battleblock Theater, Monaco, Altitude, Risk of Rain, and Super Laser Racer (and plenty others down the line, like maybe even Borderlands). But when you get all 3 of us, and possibly up to 6 (their friends joining in), it becomes hilarious mayhem.
Let's just say, the more of them there are, the less my skills become relevant, and I'm just trying to survive the furball that happens. Also mostly due to the fact that I'm the ace of the group, more often than not, I'm the primary target anyway. It's childhood all over again. Just with far less broken game controllers.
EDIT:
Actually, want to add me on Steam, click the globe below my avatar. Just as well, if I do end up livestreaming, I'll need to ask permission from my siblings first. Out of courtesy.
EDIT EDIT:
Alrighty then. I got the update installed.
EDIT EDIT EDIT:
Huh. Broadcasting isn't supported for my operating system (Windows Vista 32-bit). Or at least it says so in the settings screen. :/
EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT:
Fortunately,
according to the FAQ, Vista will be supported in the future. On the plus side, I can still watch streams, though as with any new thing, it's buggy as hell right now. 3-6 seconds before things go to crap. We need bandwidth settings to nerf quality (for those watching, not just the client that's broadcasting) so we can get more reliable broadcasts. I mean, watching someone play Super Hexagon was fun, until the broadcast died as often/frequently as the player.
