Went out and ate turkey with family and some family friends. Yay, food. Yay, socializing that's not terribly awkward.

I am strangely upbeat at the moment. Guess the anti-depressants are doing something. The lack of tons of homework or stress combined with the free time to relax and play games probably have something to do with it, but overall I just "feel" happy. More confident. More optimistic. Less guilty and less self-loathing. Odd how something as small as a pill meant to correct dopamine imbalances in the brain can cause such a change in mood.

Lets give a quick rundown of today:

Get to see my niece, as well as my brother and his wife (they're just fucking awesome people)

Turkey (grilled with one of those turkey sex toys and creole butter marinade), Hashbrown casserole, pioneer woman stuffing (italian sausage, apples, onions, mushrooms, toast, and cornbread make it delicious), black eyed peas, and rolls

Got a good nap in, then spent a good hour w my niece and terraria

Ate some bannana pudding/pretzel salad and coffee

Enjoyed some fine cigars

Now I get to chill out and watch tv w the fams, then play some fallout 3/terraria. Life is good

Well, I only had to wait half an hour 45 minutes for my bus (One lady had to wait an hour and a half so she was almost buried by the time the bus came), and when the bus was too full to get on another one was right there! And it didn't get stuck in a snowdrift (It almost did every stop though)

It's weird to stand at the base of a clocktower and not be able to even see halfway up because of snow.

I'm waffling about the quality of my Halfway Haus. My brain says that I'm doing a shitty job, but the players seem to be enjoying it. This is mostly happy interspersed with self-loathing and confusion, which is how I mostly live. Since it's mostly happy, I guess it goes here.

Heh, waffling (though it's been very much subdued compared to the previous one). And I think you do a very good job.
