So, DnD 5e tales:

Group are recruited by a lizardman who wishes to usurp the chief (who believes they're powerful mages as they accidentally incinerated the entire jungle.) They arrive at the cave, and the wild caster (custom class, based entirely around wild magic) rolls and gets alcohol immunity. Enter the cave and he challenges them to a drinking battle - natural 20. Cue the party silently taking out the lizardmen one by one as the alcohol immune mage drinks them under the table. There's a drummer in the corner who one of the PCs stealth attacks, slamming his head repeatedly into the drums to keep the beat going. As there're only a couple left, the fighter throws a severed head at the other lizardman - currently drinking - as the psychopath (a fighter, but the name says it all) grapples him, and the shaman shapeshifts into a crocodile, leading to crocodile wrestling. The chief arrives, and they roll another natural 20 charisma, convincing him it's a wild party. Cue all 6 partyu members scoring critical surprise hits on him, leaving him with tow health. The usurper come sin and rips his head off with his bare hands.

And after this, the one surviving enemy wakes up with a hell of a hangover.
