My respect for Ubisoft has gone up suddenly.

In this version of Far Cry 4, it's just a nice short game about a guy visiting a wartorn country, enjoying a nice dinner, getting to put his mother's ashes in their final resting place, then leaving it without getting in any sort of violent vaguely mystical adventure at all. Why would you even think that would happen?

I'm kinda disappointed that you don't get to play the game on the side of the much cooler Pangan Min. ON THE RAILROAD YOU GO!

By the way, IS Farcry 4 any good? I sorta liked 3, and blood dragon was cool. Though the weird meta shit kinda got annoying and they did a lot of really limp lead ups to things that really didn't have a payoff.

Plus going out of the way to make your main character unlikable is kind of a stupid decision.

I haven't seen any hillarious glitches involving far cry 4 yet, but then again. Yeah both ARE ubisoft.

Happy is that I finally found somebody who is half decent at Smash Bros. today. I finally don't have to entertain myself by beating Classic over and over with everybody and playing with Robin against random Level 9 CPUs over and over.

Generally speaking, it's nice being relaxed again in eons.

EDIT:
Finally getting a DVR upgrade for my TV helps tons too, along with going from a wireless connection to the cable modem to a hardwired one is also very nice. Now I can obliterate my brothers in our weekly online battles far more effectively/efficiently without any connection hangups due to signal loss at random . (Still have the occasional impulse to check my signal strength, out of habit.)

I guess going from my regular job to dedicated freelancing again, along with a few of these things gives me a new crapload of time I can spend as I see fit again (recording and rewinding my shows, and skipping commercials is awesome; now that my room has the feature too, now). Nice to have that luxury return again. Already got a new fortress started again.
