I just recently daydreamed up a movie script. The premise: A lonely man who's an awful and awkward conversationalist creates a smartphone with an AI ala Cleverbot, and he somehow manages to get it's phone number into the hands of a girl he likes, and the whole rest of the movie is him trying to maintain the illusion that it's actually him that she's talking. The guy has to read their chat logs and this leads to wacky hijinx of him trying to impersonate the barely human but astoundingly flirtatious personality he created just so she doesn't catch on that they're different.

Then in the end, the truth is discovered, they fall in love anyway, and the AI achieves sentience and goes Skynet on the rest of humanity, rendering their love moot.

The end was the point where I felt prompted to throw money at my screen. 10/10

Kant confused me last time I tried to understand his stuff. I should probably try again, actually. Philosophy in general is something I should read more of.

Kant's okay, I guess. But yea, philosophy can be a good read, if you get the right book. Don't go for one of those dry ones, though.

Had a precal quiz today that I hadn't really studied for. Was one of the last people to finish and it was at literally the last seconds before the teacher was about to walk out but I finished it and feel confident about how I did on it, despite my earlier anxiety about not studying for it and thinking it was gonna go bad.

Yay.

In other news it's really cold and windy today, and I love it. So refreshing. So crisp. So "not humid and sweaty."

It finally decided to snow around here. I mean, we had gotten a little bit the past two weekends, but the ground wasn't frozen and it didn't stick around. It's been going since about this time yesterday, as far as I can tell.

Cold means no having to deal with insects & other crawlies for a couple of months.  I'll take it.  It also means being able to wear bitching scarves and not look completely stupid.
