Also, I don't feel bad about eating them (or pigs, or numerous other meat animals,) because given the chance, they'd eat you, too. I'm just beating them to the punch. Cows and turkeys and such are bred specifically to be eaten, and if I don't eat them, someone else will or the meat will just go to waste. If you let them loose into the wild, they either starve to death because they don't know how to forage for food or some other ailment kills them due to the way they're raised. (There were reports in the 90s of milk cows being "freed" from dairy farms only to have their udders internally rupture from not being milked, killing them extremely painfully.) I'm all aboard the "conditions could be a lot better" bandwagon, but until we get money out of politics, that's probably not going to happen.

I just invented porridge with fishsticks...

I usually have a boiled egg with my breakfast porridge to get a bit of proteins but I had forgotten to buy eggs. I did have fish sticks left over from yesterday though.
