This is probably not going to help because I don't have (remember) enough  information But I use to make this drink that's made of:

• Honey
• Lemon (And some Lemon zest)
• Ginger (Or garlic I can't remember. . .probably garlic)
• then Add boiling water.

(Also can't remember how much of each thing.)
It will kill your sinus. (Or you, So don't try it.)

Translation (I think): "That's a really big leap to call them plant ovaries. Crack a book, son." and "Those things, fruits and ovaries, are so different that they don't really match up. The imagery is ineffective because it isn't close enough to a simile to work."

An ovary of a plant eventually develops into structure that is, at least, fruit-like. Such as apples. The seeds are the eggs.
