I totally forgot about the shipping thing! That explains the forumer shipfic from 2012 I found in my PMs. I had no idea why I wrote that.

I'm glad I found that old thread again. I don't know how many people saw my fic since the thread got deleted while I was writing it, but it was described by freeformschooler as "the best thing to come out of this scandal".

I remember once in my old group, when the party managed to talk an ogre out of fighting them somehow (after my dopey fighter had smacked him in the leg with a greatsword), and the dwarven cleric became close friends with him, eventually adopting Bragdor the ogre as some strange, oversized son.

He would ride Bragdor into battle, but this being an adventure through a dungeon the ogre had to pass an intelligence check to determine whether he remembered to duck or not when going through doorways. Many laughs were had.

Also, the local video game developers club is doing its yearly thing. Everyone submits their game pitches, they choose 10 or so, and the lucky few get to present the pitch and have other club members join their project teams. And I got picked! _{Hopefully it won't fall apart in Q3 like last year}
