This whole moving thing keeps getting more real.  Wife flew out to the Seattle area this morning for job search purposes and will be there for a couple days.  I'm still holding out for a position that I'm really interested in, but won't be hiring for another week or two.  But my current employer just confirmed that they're moving forward with hiring my replacement, hopefully quick enough that I'll be able to train them.

I think it's great, actually.  I like my team and want to leave them in the best shape I can, and training a new hire is one more work experience I can brag about while job searching.

I deal with the government, but don't work for it.

I arrange transportation and process customs paperwork on importing goods.

But right now at my work we have new people I thing the higher up's mean to replace some of us if the new guys are better then us.

Yer I know I'm better then some of them for now. But I'v got this trainee-ship I'm going for and the plan is that if I get it I'm going to try and keep both jobs (Current is a night job and the trainee-ship will be a day job)because the company doing the trainee-ship is taking on two people for a year and at the end only one gets a full time job. So if I get it I got to keep my foot in the door with my current job just in case.
