Okay, maybe the second best part. I was looking over my most recent paystub and discovered that I had apparently gotten a raise at some point and no one bothered to tell me. I used to make $0.23 per mile, but now I make $0.27 per mile. At a solid pace of 50mph, that's an extra two bucks per hour which...isn't actually all that much, really. Oh well.

Uhh....$2/hr is a pretty damn nice raise for most people. It adds up. Given a 40-hour workweek, that's an extra $4K a year, before taxes.

I didn't go scuba diving for over a month, due to school and sickness and dating and stuff.
I went scuba diving today. First dive we went around a shipreck twice, then drifted next to a huge underwater cliff. Done that dive quite a few times now.
During our decompression stop, a tanker ship drove right overhead and doubled the current and scattered everyone.

Got back on the boat, went to an island, a very good chef barbecued very good steaks for us. It was very good.

Went back into the water for a night dive. Everyone was covered in glowsticks like a rave. Went to a different wreck, deeper, it was open so we could swim inside it. Someone put a garden gnome in there, lol. A group of 4 eels was following us most of the time, kinda creepy.

We had hot chocolate to warm up when we surfaced. It was a good day.

I apparently have written up 65 different quirky abilities* to differentiate between pieces of equipment in order to ensure they have different niches and suchlike. There is nothing that serves as an unambiguous upgrade of anything else. Of course they're horribly unbalanced, I'm sure, and I should probably exert some effort toward paring down the list, but the fact that I was even able to do that is somewhat gratifying.

*Ranging from "You always deal bonus damage to this attribute." to "You can use this on horseback without spending extra actions to do it." to "The target of your appeal is Frustrated while you speak. They can take a Clarity test as a reaction to end this condition." to "Piercing weapons used against you deal damage as though their Power were 1 lower." If I do it right, which remains to be seen, these should all be fairly elegantly implemented, in a way that helps keep the mental load on the player to a minimum. Wheeeeee
