I totally forgot to post this yesterday, but I got a bunch of free apples at the store yesterday~

They tried overcharging me, and since I mentally calculate the price of everything in my head, I knew their stated price was off~

So I was like "Noep~ Nooooot the stated priiiice~" And pointed out that the apples on the computer thingy were overcharging, and they went and checked and I was right and I got free apples~

So finally got managed to reset my default search settings to Bing, after that horribad Astromenda thing autoinstalled itself. Granted the information on how to do so was helpfully provided by said Astromenda after I uninstalled it, so I guess while its a terrible terrible browser, it gets points for being a cool dude.

I... LOVE... the transistor soundtrack. It is so bloody good. The game ain't bad either, but that soundtrack is what even caused me to buy it, and I even got it in glorious glorious .flac.

After sending some applications across the bounty board (freelancing again, woo!), I decided to work on a new timecard spreadsheet, which also allows for me to compare to my past job's pay rate (and average income from it; collected notes as I worked) as a form of benchmarking my income rate, by the week/month/...hour (since some jobs pay in full, and others are by-the-hour). Even jobs that pay in full are broken down to an hourly rate estimate (also comparing time assigned to time actually worked). So fewer hours needed, relative to originally self-assigned/expected == higher rate marked up; also good for preventing half-ass cheapness on my part. Best not to have that number too high; but as long as it's (average monthly income rate by-hour) above my old income rate, I'm happy with it.

I had fun building it, and it works exactly how I want it to. Spent an extra moment making it look snazzier, and optimized it's coding/references a bit more. It's as pretty as it is functional now, and if it's anything like my old bookkeeping spreadsheet (7 years and still in operation, barely had to change things; still works like a charm, and as I originally intended it to; bugs are minimal at worst), it's built to last, and I'll be using it for a long time.

Figured out how to defeat the borg last night from star trek....


Upload DF and run a very old fort with all the various fun items to cripple a computer with on. Then proceed to start said fort.

Thats right DF brings all the Borgs to their knees.....
