Wolfram Alpha tells me that's 150kg, which is twice what I (and Wolfram too, which honestly I would trust more than my own sense of what average is) would expect an average man to weigh.

I have to lose about seventy pounds in about a year and a half.  By this point next year I need to be at least about forty pounds lighter, and be able to do a lot more pushups and situps then I can do now.
My problem is that I am bad about procrastinating.  For me to get any kind of routine going, I have to summon up the will to do exercise whenver the thought crosses my mind.  Cooking dinner?  Make sure I won't burn the house down and then go running.  Getting ready to go to sleep?  Go running.  Just woke up? Go running.  Just took a shower?  Go running and then take another shower.  Otherwise I will just tell myself "Once I finish this up" and then I won't run again for another few months.

About 6'1, and fairly sure a good deal of it is muscle. I'm extremely dense.

Don't get me wrong, I'm fat, but not like obese fat.

Metabolism! And jogging can get you places if you want to go somewhere nearby.

Nono, sprinting makes good exercise. Jogging is only really for shows of endurance. For actual health purposes it's hugely inefficient.

We're talking about losing weight so far as I can tell. Once you've lost it, THEN you start toning your muscles up. Besides, endurance is more useful, I'd say, than being able to momentarily sprint a short distance.

I'm not talking about specifically toning up muscles. Jogging is, in general, a sub-par choice of exercise.

Dunno why people are insulting the noble and ancient art of jogging. Does the term "persistence predation" mean anything to you? Our ancestors practically jogged their prey to death.

Maybe. I know that they would wound the prey first, but I'm not sure simple walking would have been enough to run the animal down.
