Several times. He eventually started waiting for other people to post to elaborate on his own points, seemingly ignring the "modify" button. He never used grammar, even though he was encouraged to try it.

Literally half the posts on a page were often him, because he'd post every other time.

It was annoying.

I strongly advise against naming children after characters from fantasy media unless the name is a corruption of a normal name or an actual 'common' name. It could end up like a tattoo-- something that was cool when it was spur-of-the-moment but you deeply regret later. Your child may also have a very different opinion on their odd name than you do.

But it's your choice.

Reminds me of the time my science lab partner said he'd name his kid "Drumlin", which is a deposit of minerals formed from a glacier.

Better than this is to ensure that it has a simple, easily derived diminutive/abbreviated form which is not overly remarkable. Have your cake and let the little'un decide on their own terms whether they want to eat it or change it when they're of age without having their childhood ruined. That aside, given how easily people are confused over culturally normal names with plenty of history behind them (no personal experience speaking here, no sir!), it's not like it's going to be that much different as long as you're using names that still sound like names and which are phonetically functional.

Of course if you name your kid something like 'La - a' or 'Evangelion Unit 01', that's valid grounds for them to murder you once they're old enough. :V
