I have actually learned something from training.  So many things I would have loved to know earlier.

Spoiler:  computer tech did you knows (click to show/hide)

• Did you know Win+R opens up your run dialog box
• Did you know Win+C opens the charms bar in windows 8.
• Did you know that annoying thing that comes up when you hover the mouse in some parts of the right side of your screen is called a charms bar?
• Did you know Win+X opens a special menu in windows 8 that contains all the commonly used power user and admin tools in one place? Right clicking with the mouse over the bottom left of the screen opens it too.
• Did you know that you can type a url into the run box and it will open that url in the default browser?
• Did you know ctrl+L will highlight the address bar in most internet browsers? (Tested in IE, Firefox and Chrome)
• Did you know you can customize exactly how the taskbar displays your clock by left clicking on your taskbar clock>change date and time settings>Change date and time>change calender settings.

I think the best argument against that is if we can only use 10% of our brain, why do we have the other 90%? I mean, ignoring all the scientific evidence saying it's bull.

Ace Combat Infinity's 7th mission. Fight against Camilla, who "flies?" a drone Nosferatu.

this fucking music starts playing when the fight starts.

So so so happy. All of my avatars but one are from Ace Combat 3 because that game's fuggin awesome (the Japanese version, at least; not being a weeaboo, they removed the plot and 4/13 of the missions).

In fact, this whole damn game. Let me recap the seventh mission for you, with references in parentheses:

You, known to the enemy as the Grim Reaper/Ribbon (4), are fighting over the Round Table (0) with your wingmates along with the Ridgeback squadron lead by Kei Nagase, callsign Edge (2/5). You end up fighting Camilla (some sort of experiment from the leader of the Usean Federation (2,3,4) named Kacper Cohen (3), likely a sapient AI (3) considering the reference) who flies a Nosferatu (6) surrounded by Quox drones (Ikaros in the Sky) that shoot frickin' laser beams. And the Dision fight theme from 3 plays all the while.

The only thing missing is Assault Horizon and the PSP games, and Assault Horizon gets some soundtrack love.

Also, Keiki Kobayashi, the composer for the Ace Combat series, is working on music for the next Smash Bros.

I just finished fixing my first custom creature.

I finally had a lucid dream where I followed the procedure with reality checks, reacted calmly to me waking up, foiled a false awakening with more reality checks, and stabilized my dream.

I still woke up anyways because I was still dumb and not thinking clearly, but at least dream me is becoming more competent and awake as opposed to casually knowing that I'm dreaming and panicking out.
