Finally got settled in at college. The two roommates moved in, the dorm is pretty much all set up. Not a bad crib, we got a couple Xboxes, a TV, a switch for giving everyone internet, a fridge, and misc snacks. Roommates seem cool. Shouldn't be too bad to live with them. Hopefully.

Got some free time over the next couple days before mandatory "welcome to college you freshman scrubs" activities start. Nice to have got everything done and just relax now.

Hard to believe this is my life now, but whatever. Seems cool so far. Or at least it's not terrible yet.

Finally played through Portal 2. It was pretty good, especially the ending. Damn that device has some ridiculous range.

So I just watched Guardians of the Galaxy.  It was PRETTY DAMN GOOD.

Stuff near the end just seemed a bit... uh... comic-booky?  The impromptu "Dance Off" seemed just so out of place.
Also I now assume that Peter's father is Doctor Who.  NOTHING ELSE MAKES AS MUCH SENSE.

Haven't watched it yet, but the raccoon of the group reminds me too much of the Shofixti from Starcon.

I had an odd amount of knowledge of the group before the movie. To be exact, I knew about Star-Lord, Drax the Destroyer and Rocket Raccoon as all being in the Guardians of the Galaxy. I also knew about Groot... and didn't know he was in the Guardians of the Galaxy.

On the Xbox 360 when you beat Portal 2 you get the achievement 'Lunacy' with the description 'That just happened.'

Also on PS3 and Steam... so every console.

I got the PS3 version mostly because the PS3 version comes with the Steam version free.
