Yup, you can mod it just like any other game....though personally I kinda stopped playing Long War because its just way too frustrating after awhile. This is despite being the person who probably got most of the rest of the forum to play it

Basically Long War is a "hard mod" which some parts are nice, specifically the strategic elements it adds, but the tactical stuff just gets irritating after your soldiers start dying to fucking DRONES.

Don't listen to this, it's soft and cuddly!

Except for the air game. Fuck the air game with a branding iron reading 'Vigilo, Confido, Except for This'.

Drones are mostly bad now because they're incredibly difficult to hit while flying, have substantial DR for the early months, and tend to be mixed in with pods of Sectoids &c. There's also how they tend to be mixed in with things like cyberdisks later on, and will repair them if not promptly eliminated.

Follow installation instructions. This may help if you have issues; it did for me.

The freerunners have multiplied exponentially. The first time they showed up around my area there were only 5 of them, now there are about 70 of them in two different groups jumping and running all over the place from the lake to the hill. It's turned into a fully fledged parkour migration, you can hear their mating calls outside.
