My wireless mouse stopped working a few days ago. Thankfully I had a spare mouse that kind-of-sorta-works. I tried to open up the borked mouse, but it wouldn't open all the way for some reason, even with all (one) external screws taken out. Either there was a catch in the back that I couldn't see holding the upper shell to the base, or there was an internal screw (I saw some reflective metal inside on the shell, but that could have been anything), or I was just Doing It Wrong [tm], but it was kind of impeding diagnosis, let alone fixanosis.

Turns out the issue was that the battery-slot connecting wire came up from the board. Took a pair of tweezers, slipped the wire back into it's position, and it started working again. HUZZAR! Repairing electronics, technically! At least, diagnosing the issue!

Made me think "I wonder how many people haven't filled in the infomation because that can't be right."

Made me think "I wonder how many people haven't filled in the infomation because that can't be right."

Those numbers don't really mean anything. Two thirds of Bay12 are Escaped Lunatics, and most of those are spambots.
