In a homebrew middle earth campaign, I've built a barbarian4/Fist of the Forest3/Nature's warrior5 that has a 26 AC unarmored, and can, thanks to a racial wildform-into-brownbear ability and a belt of giant's strength with attached wilding clasp, manages to do 2d8 + 1d12 + 20 with a successful pin check, with fast healing 1. He's going to beat enemy casters into submission and shrug off all the damage after battle in a matter of minutes. He's only ninth level. I'm quite happy.

Well if it helps, he deals an extra +1d12 while charging into combat. I think he's more like Guile. In that he goes with any team.
