One of these days I need to look up battle for wesnoth...
It's pretty good.
Although you will quickly find yourself hating the fact that the time changes.

This comic is quite possibly the best thing to have come out of The Elder Scrolls. And quite possibly the best comic I have ever read.

... prequel's the best comic you've read? I mean... don't get me wrong, it's pretty good, if a little dead-horse-beating or somethin', but. Maybe read more comics :P

Definitely would put it below, say, Unsounded. Probably a good handful of others, and that's just sticking to webcomics...

BLOODY HELL THIS ONE. GO READ UNSOUNDED. IT IS GREAT.

Also I'm not that sure about Prequel. it was amazing for me but then I saw some kinda contest which was...being pushed towards the fans to vote for to 'win'. :s It sort of jaded me as to the author.
I mean sure there was a backing comic of one of the main characters being eeeevil and all but..

Some people like certain tones of writing more than others.
Tone is important. It probably decided what people will like more than how it looks or even the content.

A) That was supported by the people running the contest
2) If nobody else had done that Kaz would still have won. The only person with more points before he started the side-story thing was another internet person who was (shock horror) asking their fans to vote for their design.
D) I don't actually see what's wrong with that but that's less important than the other two things.

Hey, I've read maybe 6 or 7 webcomics. They take a lot of time.

Prequel is good, but... Originally I thought the author was steering things toward Katia having a shit time of it. However, it turns out that a lot of the commands are asking Katia to have a shit time of it. So I don't read it anymore simply because it just seems to be a very long dark tunnel with pretty much no way out.

Well, I haven't read it. And I probably won't because I immediately thought "Yeah, until something really fucking horrible happens again" when I read your post. Still, I'm considering it, mainly because Katia is such a good character.

Yyyyeeaaahhh. I like prequel, but I'm just afraid Katia will get drunk again and ruin everything. Although I suppose you can't un-learn skills.

And I wouldn't rate it "best I ever read" it's pretty good, but below twoota or gunnerkrigg.

Let's see, I've read:

Axe Cop
Some Morrowind thing
Bits of Penny Arcade

And some other things I can't remember right now.

My web comic experience is a bit lacking. But of the ones I've read, this one has entertained me the most.

As for actual comics, Watchmen is probably the best I've read.

W... well then. For the future. Fairly sure there's a couple other webcomic suggestion threads and whatnot laying around, if you haven't ran into them yet. Just skimming it, most of the major ones are mentioned in the first three pages, so... have a ball.

It's ok. No offense to any authors, but I honestly don't have time for webcomics, even if they are good. They're all so long... maybe if I caught one as it was starting and followed it.

A lot of webcomics tend to turn me off in the first couple of pages by being obviously deep and involved.

The only ones I tend to end up reading I do because they start off with enough complexity, both explicit and implicit, that you could probably write it in a short paragraph. As opposed to ones where the opening pages constantly make allusions to the wider world of the story and stuff so that it's obvious there's going to a lot of shit you'll end up having to take in.
Which is also why I've hardly read any of the poplar webcomics.

I don't read webcomics at all. And I'm a perfectly healthy, rational human being! *Twitches*
