I think I am a bit too hyper for this site. I always want things to keep going. I end up sitting, waiting for some one to post but I can't expect that now can I.

You could try one of the rps in forum games. Those seem to get a lot of posts often.

That's what I usually do, but it's a hassle.

I managed to figure out why my FOV in my roguelike wasn't working like I thought it would.

Additionally, I found a way to make the FOV either show the entire dungeon as you explore it, or only display what you can see all the time, depending on a boolean variable. Potential gameplay option for the future ho!

I once read about certain bird species relying upon cultural knowledge passed down through generations, and now believe this to be true of Mockingbirds. A couple years ago, we had an incredibly squeaky gate, and they began copying it. We oiled it eventually, but they kept repeating the sound. Ever since. They've spawned a few generations since, though, and it's getting more and more distorted. It's fascinating.
