At least it's not something like Train Simulator. That's not even a game, it's just unmitigated boringness.
That's a thing?
It is. Website for those without the Google-fu.

Basically you sit in a train and occasionally apply brakes. The "missions" are about an hour long. You can acquire more trains via microtransactions.
Do... people actually... you know, play it?
If they do, they're probably some kind of AI that was designed solely for the purpose of playing the game, with preventative measures to stop said AI from committing suicide.

Thats the thing that people did highspeed extreme multitrack drifing in instead of running a sane train, right?

There's not much else you can do in the game, as far as I can tell.

Yeah, enthusiasm for such a thing as trains is simply something I cannot imagine.

It's also about the scenery. From my understanding, they reproduce real rail lines, and so it's as much cheap sightseeing as anything else.

Also, programming to the Pacific Rim theme is great. Sure, I may be coding a system for log files, but damnit, it feels epic now.

Train Simulator?

At least it isn't Desert Bus Ride. The one where you spend eight or nine hours on a completely straight desert road from Tuscon, Arizona to Las Vegas on a bus that veers left slightly and so requires your constant attention.

It doesn't tickle my pickle but I understand the train simulator. It's basically model trains in the digital age. And while buying *all* the trains costs you a years tuition at a cheap Canadian college, they're not expecting anyone to buy them all. They're detailed models, basically, and as a train afficianado, you buy the ones that excite you most. Probably just a few of them, really. Same as you would buy a few trains for a model train set.

I do love trains not enough to play train simulator though I mean im pretty sure you start with 1 type of train and have to pay about 25$ for each new train

And I think loving trains is pretty common among autistic people such as myself im not sure why its just an observation I have made
