So, I spooked my coworker today. We have a little countertop scale that we use to weigh outbound boxes. It goes up to 90 lbs. I was screwing around, and I squeezed it with both hands until the dial stopped moving, into the white after 90 far enough that none of the numbers were on the little viewer. Then I had to unlock it. When she tried, it only went up to 30lbs or so.

She balked when I said I used to be able to put a bathroom scale up to 220. :3 (To put it in perspective, I've met soldiers who can damn near get two rotations on a 200lb bathroom scale. I'm decently strong, but I'm not absurdly so.)

Lately I've been noticing a surge of people pulling up alongside me on the freeway and making fist pumping motions. You know, the kind where they want you to blow the air horn. This one. I've never done it before because there's usually other traffic around, and I don't want to accidentally scare some other driver who might think I'm honking at them. Safety first, don'tcha know.

Last week another car did the same thing, but for the first time ever a quick glimpse into the mirrors and the road ahead confirmed that we were the only vehicles for a few hundred feet on either side. So I give the car a smile and two short blasts on the air horn. The guy who made the motions clapped his hands together, clearly laughing, and gave me a double-thumbs up in return as they pulled ahead. Good feels.

Unfortunately, if you take any two trucks' air horns, they will sound slightly different. I can't find mine on YouTube :/
