Converting chicken cordon bleu to pasta form has been a surprising success although it turns out the sauce is just ridiculously rich. Apparently that's what happens when it's got a pound and a half of cheese in it? Plus 3/4 of a pound of bacon?

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Have you considered making your food less deadly?

Fix'd. And why would he do that?

There's a hedgehog sleeping in a berrybush in my yard. It's under a small pile of moss and small branches, and the pile moves as it breathes.

It seems to be becoming a permanent resident actually. Saw the same hedgehog(it's the same size, it's a very young hedgehog actually) a week ago going through some discarded berries we had thrown into that same bush, looking for food.

I wonder if it's related to another hedgehog I saw last summer, sitting under a shed in our yard, making hedgehog noises. That one was quite a bit bigger, maybe it's a parent of this hedgehog?

I don't even need a picture to squee over that. :3
I've never met a hedgehog in person, but if they're anywhere near as adorable as echidnas that would be amazing.

Last hedgehog I saw was hidding in the grass, like they usually do here. Had to keep my dog away because who knows what they'd do to eachother. Still nice to know that they're around.

The one before that I saw in the middle of the road. Or rather, all over it.

Listening to a proper, brutal hard dnb while your window is wide open and outside there's a rainy thunderstorm going on... yeah, that's what cool kids do this days.

That made me happy today, yep.

The only things I have in my yard are the occasional possums, which are cute. And raccoons under the place, until they're introduced to a Super Soaker.

I have isolated the dwarven gay gene! Imma make a DFHack gaydar now.

EDIT: Ugh, just thought of what the community would do with it. Kinda harshed me.

EDIT 2:

Solon Tankûbuk is straight
Ast Isullikot is straight
Vabôk Ingishmeng is straight
Goden Logemtölún is straight
Doren Gebber is straight
Goden Domasvutok is bi
Mosus Lorbamasrer is straight

The gaydar works!

Spoiler: EDIT 3 (click to show/hide)

oh search and replace...

Playing Dragon's Dogma, going into battle with a group of bandits.
I was wondering why one of my support pawns wasn't in the fray, tanking as usual, and then I realised I'd thrown her off a city wall to her death and forgotten to re-summon her. Whoops. I swear, so many bizarre and amusing moments in this game.
Yes, I discovered a new way they can be useful- chucking the silly buggers from a height is a good way to test if you can survive the fall.
