Every time I rewatch those films I spot something new.

Like on the wall there is a giant slogan we've heard before: 'To err is human, to forgive divine.' Also if you think about it, the aliums say we're backwards and get caught in a spiral of barbarism and self destruction; the end scenes being a total parallel to the opening scenes show at least part of it is true, we do get caught in a spiral of barbarism and self destruction, but we also move forwards from it all with plenty of good things about us alongside all the crap. It's both optimistic and pessimistic! The best thing in the end was truly for the aliens to fuck off and let us do our own thing. Also in the earlier bar scenes you can usually always spot an extra who does nothing but stare at the 5 musketeers all the way through.

 AP test results are out today.  I got a four on my AP Computer Science test.  I blame the bugs in the multiple choice portion for not getting a five. I skipped that entire section because they didn't provide enough time.
