We were going to go spend a week at my Grandma's, which is fine, except last time we were here she had really, really, slow internet (not quite dial-up, but only minusculy better). We get here and suddenly I discover that she has upgraded and now has a rather fast 500 kb/s connection, a couple of times faster than my parents house (which is where I was spending the earlier part of the summer). Quite a nice surprise!

I actually really like Watch Dogs. Besides the terrible optimization and blatant lies from Ubisoft, they actually made a decently fun game. It's not the amazing work of art they promised by far, but I like it.
The Digital Trips are fun, too. My favorite is Spider-Tank.

because corporations have better legal representation than the average citizen?

it's enforced, but only if the false advertising actively hurts other corporations or if the country the situation is placed in has a good amount of activists involved in getting their own, corporation-grade legal representation

If you think advertising is even remotely truthful you really only have yourself to blame though

It's not so easy to prosecute that kind of charge. An advertisement can be deceptive without being 'false'. It's very hard to prove since these adjectives are quite bendy and wiggly.

Even with the improved graffix the game is still doody.

Hype doesn't tend to affect me since my gaming taste is obnoxiously arbitrary.

That or I get hyped about a game way too early and totally forget about it by the time it's actually released.

Reading some of the stuff about Watch_Dogs here I'm remembering something I realized the other day. Gunpoint was already everything watch_dogs wanted to be minus the spectacle, a stealth game with hacking themes where averting violence is usually the goal, and breaking that is punished. (If you use the resolver that is)
